I’m a software developer, photographer, cyclist, husband, parent-in-training and experienced cat valet.

Software Development (currently available)

I’m currently available to start on new projects (or join existing ones). Recently I worked as a developer at Birmingham City University, and prior to that at various companies or agencies on projects for clients including Liverpool Airport, Jaguar Land Rover, Tarmac, Birmingham Airport, Swift Go and Xercise4Less. Mostly using a Microsoft stack I’ve developed web, windows and mobile device applications and worked with a number of bespoke Content Management Systems and have many years experience with Umbraco.

Over the last 20+ years I’ve worked at small and large agencies, quasi-autonomous non-governmental organisations, small businesses with a global reach, and most recently in education.

When I’m not designing and developing I’m usually outdoors taking landscape and adventure photography or riding bikes.

If you are interested in working with me or just want to reach out and say hey then please write to me at christian.marsh@gmail.com.

Photography

My passion for photography is continuously increasing and I’m rarely more happy or content (outside of family life) then when out on a mountainside or in a forest with my camera, or when developing my film and photos. I’m working on and planning a number of projects, more to follow on this but in the meantime you can follow what I’m doing photographically by checking out my recent images, or visit my photography blog and finally you can find me on  instagram.

If you’ve got a project you’d like to work with me on then get in touch.
